Veterans Guide.org Our mission is to assist veterans with the array of issues they may face, including obtaining proper disability compensation, financial assistance, information on the GI bill, and more. We have created some helpful guides and will continuously be adding more. Recently we also made a calculator that helps veterans calculate how much their VA rating should be, especially when it comes to combining ratings and complicated VA math. Check it out here:

Veteran Home Purchase Resources

Montana Board of Housing First-Time Home Buyer Program - Reduced mortgage rate for Veterans through the MBOH Loan Program

NADL Loan Program If you’re a Veteran, and either you or your spouse is Native American, our Native American Direct Loan (NADL) program may help you get a loan to buy, build, or improve a home on federal trust land. You may also get a loan to refinance an existing NADL and reduce your interest rate. The NADL Program, offered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), provides direct home loans to eligible Native American Veterans or Veterans married to Native Americans. These loans facilitate the purchase, construction, or improvement of homes on federal trust land. Refinancing existing NADL loans to reduce interest rates is also an option. Find out if you qualify for an NADL—and how to apply. Here is the link to the VA Site for application

Property Tax Assistance Program If you are disabled veteran (partially or 100%) you can apply for the MT Property Tax Assistance Program and reduce your property taxes.
